    During today’s real estate radio show which is commonly known as our Sold Saturdays Broadcast I spoke about the 105 real estate listings which sold during the past 7 days. (Correction – 77 Homes Closed escrow in the past 7 days)

    I also talked a bit about our upcoming Open House Sunday’s real estate show. We tell our clients and those who want to circumvent a single agent, when viewing open houses or new model homes, don’t give up who you are. If you do you may be spammed or contacted when your desire is not to be. Maybe you want to do research about the market on your own before choosing a real estate agent?

    Today’s real estate radio show we observed the 77 real estate listings that have sold during the past 7 days. 

    35 of the homes experienced reductions in price – Basically 1/2 of them showed a sales price reduction when all was said and done. These reductions could have been because of a “credit in lieu of repairs” which was granted by the seller. Those reductions could have also taken place because the appraiser did not appraise the home for the amount the buyers offered.

    27 of the homes sold for more than their listing price. This is indicative of a tight real estate market with substandard numbers related to the amount of available real estate listings for sale.

    I also covered the selling of your personal information. Some of our clients commented that act is criminal in nature and it would be policed. There should be a disclaimer about what is going to happen when you give up who you are seeking more information.

    Something like this, “By using this website, you agree that all information discovered about you, provided by you or researched by us about you will be sold to more than one real estate agent, marketing company, solar provider, furniture re-seller, and other entities for the purpose of monetizing your personal and private information so we can make a profit!”

    Then my site says – “Your personal and private information is only seen my Connor T. MacIvor and kept in my protected custody because I alone want to be your Realtor!”
