Could Santa Clarita Valley be climbing out of a Home Sellers market?

    Santa Clarita real estate inventory 4-year history – This is the data portion with the corresponding real estate numbers related to “active” real estate inventory within the Santa Clarita Valley Cities.

    It’s interesting that when you are very close to a particular type of housing market, the lines start to become blurred. As a frustrated home buyer and seller, this happens very often. The market dynamic changes, sometimes on a dime. Very quickly it can turn around. It’s nice when you have a trusted advisor that is not saying things that have his own best interest at heart. If they would not sell a piece of real estate they own, if all things were equal, because of the instability of the real estate market, and were honest with you – that agent is a keeper!

    The same goes for buying. If your real estate agent thought that buying at this time in the Santa Clarita real estate market was bad timing, and they told you that, they also are a keeper!

    It’s the “extra” resources that I find most helpful when describing the current state of the Santa Clarita real estate market during our Market Monday’s real estate broadcast.

    Have you been driving around as of late? Seeing all of the Santa Clarita open house signs that are being advertised within the Santa Clarita Valley on weekends?

    That is a very good sign that things are slowing down. At least in the price ranges where you are seeing more open houses. Those homes that are within Valencia, which are in the “sweet range” 500-650k, are selling before any open house opportunities.
