    Buying A Santa Clarita Valley Home is Individual

    Houses and homes in the Santa Clarita Valley cities, Castaic, Canyon Country, Newhall, Saugus, Stevenson Ranch and Valencia are not “one size fits all”.  They should always be looked at from your own heart.  Unless you are shopping for two – then both of you should be on the same page when the balloon goes up, so you both will be ready. (could not resist – from my LAPD days).

    Seriously, you may like homes that are not stucco on the outside – you may like homes with siding.  You may want an island in the kitchen of the home you are going to buy.  You also may be the type of buyer that wants a larger than normal backyard so you can have a pool or have one put in.  There has never been a one size fits all scenario or home type when it comes to building residential real estate.

    The reality of realty is that what is affordable for one may not be affordable for everyone, and as with almost everything buying a home is completely individual. Yes, it’s true, homes are more affordable than they have been in years and the word “affordable” includes both the value of homes and the financing of homes. Buying a home makes sense for some who can do so with ease and can put others in a position of complete financial stress.

    What makes buying a home more affordable for you than renting boils down to your monthly expenses. Consider this, if you are currently paying $1,500 a month in rent and can buy a home and pay $1,200 a month for your mortgage you are most assuredly saving money each month. However, it is important to remember that you are also putting money down for a down payment and incurring any additional expenses that come with owning a home.

    On the flip side you are now buying versus renting and are therefore gaining equity each month as you pay down your loan. If you buy today to are certainly buying at or near the bottom of the market which means that your investment will give an even greater return in the long run. Granted home values will not spike up the way they did before the big burst, but a slow and steady increase over time will enhance your real estate investment.

    Many who have been eyeing real estate over the past few years, critics included, are seeing now as an ideal time to buy. Real estate is showing positive signs of strength in its recovery. The question is, is now the right time for you?

    In fact, with a home you have much more selection than a commercial endeavor.  Make sure you are using the right tools when searching for Santa Clarita homes and real estate.  Make sure you are working with local real estate experts.  Also, make sure you are viewing the actual inventory and not some listing that is being advertised on-line to get you to give up your personal information.
