    Today is Sunday, Open House Day.  In fact, open houses can be held for different reasons, and not “reasons” you may think to be the most applicable.

    Open houses can be not  for sale at all – A Testing of the real estate market if you well.  Maybe “repayment” or “help” for a real estate agent that is a friend of the homeowner and in need of clients. (maybe there is some sharing of conversions??)

    Open houses may be sold already – Underhanded – but some are being held as favors for other agents (very typically not the listing agent), but someone out of their office.  You may not know that the home, you are walking into as being “for sale”, has sold until later in the process.

    Open houses being held wanting back up offers – These are also mostly about conversion of clients.  Hosting these homes that are in back up position, without a “back up” offer being wanted or needed.
