Being interviewed by Santa Clarita real estate buyers

    Today marks one of the greatest events in my life. I have been here before, and was again this morning when meeting with new clients. These clients happened to be interviewing buyers agents. They were in the process of finding someone they want to work with to purchase their 1/2 a million dollar property in either Stevenson Ranch or Valencia.     This Santa Clarita real estate interested couple told me that they ran the Keyword phrase, “Top Santa Clarita Agents” in Google. We were at the top of the Search Engine so they called me yesterday. I happened to answer the phone, which is not the exception to the rule of how I operate my real estate business. The caller is usually more important than what I am currently occupied with. In fact, unless I’m with Clients, I’m picking up the phone.

    That was a lesson learned by a long time friend of mine that was a Top Producer in the Real Estate business until his twilight years. He was always at the top in Real Estate production, and after he died, his funeral was packed with those whom he had served their real estate needs. That is how I want to be remembered, in the best way possible.

    At the conclusion of our Buyers Briefing at my office, I also informed those prospective Paris911 Clients to be careful of being asked to sign anything when visiting other agents in the SCV. Not all play the Buyer Broker Game, but some do. Let me clarify the previous statement. I do believe in the buyer broker agreement. However, there is a time and place for it.     Here is what I recommend – Get the best representative you can find that fits with you and yours well. Don’t go with the fastest and smoothest talking, do some on-line research. Look at what the “local real estate agents” are writing about and who’s reading it. Also – do some searching by their brand and names. What are those “yelpers” saying? What about “Google Reviews”?
