But, I will say this, in some cities – such as San Francisco CA – they don’t last too long.
In our local markets, we are seeing days on market averages that are less than the national numbers – but no where near as fast as in San Francisco 🙂

When you are looking at the “overall picture” of the Santa Clarita Valley market, you will see that the listing prices are changing hand over fist.
However, when we peer a little deeper, we see that the median home sales prices are staying steady, even creeping up just a little each month.
While the climb is not going to be as fast as it was back from mid 2012 to October 2013 – it’s still climbing.
