Anonymity when it comes to Short Selling your Santa Clarita Home

    I am quite sure we are the only agents to exclude our Sellers Short sale listings from appearing on the real estate santa clarita california mlssyndication websites.  While it does not exclude their homes from being promoted for sale on the Multiple listing service, it does prevent it from being “irresponsibility marketed”.  Have you seen those websites that have syndicated homes for sale then, right next to the listing, they have their version of that the fair market value is?  What about those websites that give all of the other information about the seller, what they bought it for etc???

    Those things are okay to find out from a buyers stand point, (provided between themselves and their specific real estate agent), but most sellers don’t appreciate it at all.  It would not be a big deal if those sites were rendering accurate values – but they are not. Their data is eschewed. (I checked the spelling – it looks funny, doesn’t it?)

    Here is an audio podcast we recorded talking about the Anonymity when it comes to selling our Sellers short sale listings in the SCV.  We are all about their privacy. Our main job is to keep them protect while getting them an offer on their property in the shortest amount of time.  That is so their lives will not be interrupted longer than absolutely necessary.

    After we have an offer on their short sale – their Short package is not complete.  That is when we have the full “ear” of the bank or banks involved.  We then approach the first and second(is existing), and continue the negotiation process. It is at that time, when we have a full package, that our short sale sellers can relax and not be bothered by those wanting to show their home to prospective buyers.
