Although Fannie and Freddie aren’t – most are foreclosing during the holidays

    I thought it was a nice gesture.  Fannie and Freddie holding off Foreclosing on real estate that’s on their books during this holiday season. It definitely beats being kicked in the teeth.  We also watched in the aftermath of the New York hurricane , in the areas affected by that tragedy, stopping foreclosures from continuing for a time.  That too beat a sharp stick in the eye.

    Daily radio show about real estate in Santa Clarita CAI’m opining, that after January 4, 2013 – it is going to be “business as usual” within the foreclosure world.  We also have gotten word, a secret word, that the banks have more inventory to place on the market for sale in 2013.  Want one more word?  I think that investors are going to slow their roll when it comes to investing in real estate.  Not that there aren’t GREAT deals to be had – but because they are going to start to work the numbers with regard to the “tax levels” readjusting from their current real estate strategy.

    If this happens, we have more inventory on the market for sale – we have less competition by “cash” investors. Owner occupied real estate buyers for the Santa Clarita Valley may be in better shape to buy homes, condo’s and town-homes in 2013…
