    7 Active Real Estate Owned listings currently on the SCV Market and they are reducing

    Looking back to a REO Wednesdays report we put together merely a few weeks ago showing our local Foreclosure Market having 14 Foreclosure Listings for Sale in the Following Cities:

    • Castaic
    • Canyon Country
    • Newhall
    • Saugus
    • Stevenson Ranch
    • Valencia

    That has reduced even further to a total of 7 Active real estate foreclosures. As of the time of the Real Estate Broadcast we did today, we had 8. By the time I am writing the content to discuss the Foreclosure market in the SCV cities, we have reduced by one.

    We have 3 of the Foreclosure listings that are in pending status – meaning they are in the “strongest form” of escrow. Most of the more reputable real estate syndication websites will show these listings as being “in escrow”.

    6 of the real estate listings are in the “backup” status – meaning they are in escrow, under fully executed contracts, however – the sellers (bank or the ownership entity) wants to generate additional offers just in case the primary falls out. Most of the real estate syndication websites may not be rendering as “backup”, causing most real estate foreclosure buyers to think they are fully active and open for offers.

    Paris and Connor MacIvor

    Connor and Paris MacIvor are in the Top 1% of Realtors Nationwide, starting their real estate business in 1998 with RE/MAX Gateway - Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia CA. Their becoming licensed real estate consultants and representatives came from the horrible experience they had when they bought their first home.
